Another deer season and the house is filled with hunters. Four male hunters got 4 bucks this year. Turned out to be a beautiful opening weekend for deer season and the lucky hunters saw plenty of deer this year. Deer camp is annually held in our house even though I try with all my might to get the hunters to actually camp. Like they would ever turn down a warm house, comfortable accommodations, and a hot meal for the cold outdoors. I don't get to be a "widow" during deer season because they never leave home. But a girl can dream!
It is nice that my father-in-law, who is 76, can come to our house and hunt without having to brave the elements of deer camp. That's one nice thing about hunting at home.
