Looking forward to a good year!

I'm looking forward to a good year with selling my cross stitch items. Cross stitching is a huge passion of mine and I love to turn the patterns into beautiful keepsakes. I'm hoping that this year I can get a following so I can share my creations with others.

My favorite patterns to stitch would be Prairie Schooler. I'm a country gal who loves her antiques, primitives, and country stuff. The Prairie Schooler patterns are just simple, rustic, beautiful patterns that turn into great home decorations.

I also love to stitch smaller patterns that I can place into cards that anyone can give as a gift. These can then be framed as a keepsake. I've given many of these away over the years to my family and friends.

Keep doing what you love to do!

  1. I know exactly how you feel, last year I opened my shop and had to close it just at the end of the year. I'm hoping to be able to get the funds to re-open it this year and start fresh and maybe engage people enough to make a few sales.

I love stitch work I always feel like it is so personal so it has that extra touch of authenticity!

I know that you are going to do great this year :)

  2. Me, too. I have to cross stitch! It's my passion, my therapy so I try to sell what I make since I've already given family and friends a ton of stuff.

Who wouldn't want a beautiful handmade, personally stitched work of art instead of a store bought card or pillow.

Hope you can get your shop up and running. I let mine go by the wayside at the end of 2009 but am starting it up again in hopes of some sales.
