Feeling discouraged!

I'm a positive person, I see the glass as half full, but right now I am feeling so discouraged about trying to sell my creations online. I do everything I can think of to promote and sell my cross stitched creations but to no avail.

I use Etsy, Ebay and Artfire as sources for selling online. I tweet, post in forums, use facebook fanpage and talk to anyone who has a pulse about my shops, crafts, and my passion for cross stitch. What's a seller to do?

Any advice from my fellow crafters would be greatly appreciated.

Have a good one!

  1. Your work is wonderful! I am loving the "Blessings Abound" pillow.

    Are you on any teams?

Do you promote regularly in the promo forum with clickable links?

Sales are slow for me right now too. I am hoping it's the lull before the storm!

Thanks for posting on my blog thread.

  3. I've only had one sale and it was to a family member :) If you find a secret to promoting, I'd love to hear about it!

  4. I'll let you know Sarah but I'm not having much luck either. Christie Cottage, thanks for the compliment. I love stitching and don't see the reason to stitch if I can't sell some of the things I stitch. I do promote with links. I'm on facebook with a fan page, ebay, etsy, artfire, and always in the forums on etsy posting links and staying in touch. Hope things turn around.
